Be cautious of fraud attempts in which you are asked for identification details, card information, or money
S.A.I. Muntenia Invest S.A., as administrator of the Alternative Investment Fund – Longshield Investment Group SA (previous name SIF Muntenia SA), represented by Adrian Simionescu, President of the Board of Directors,
as result of reporting, in the last period, of some situations regarding the request for data/information to the shareholders of Longshield Investment Group SA, please consider the following:
- employee of S.A.I. Muntenia Invest S.A. does not call Longshield Investment Group SA shareholders and investors by phone or email to make recommendations or investment proposals;
- do not respond to any request received by email or phone (sms, whatsapp) from people who recommend themselves as representatives of the Alternative Investment Fund Longshield Investment Group SA, of the fund administrator, SAI Muntenia Invest SA, or of some brokers /intermediaries, Bucharest Stock Exchange SA, Depozitarul Central SA, Financial Supervisory Authority, etc.;
- do not comply with the requests received by phone or email regarding the obtaining/authorization of any operation to update data related to the status of a shareholder of Longshield Investment Group SA;
- do not disclose the number of shares you own in any company;
- do not access links sent by email or phone (sms, whatsapp) or provided on social media pages, even if they may seem legitimate – they may redirect you to a fake page, similar to the official one. SAI Muntenia Invest SA does not send sms, e-mails or links on social networks to request personal information/amounts of money or to encourage you to download various investment applications;
- do not under any circumstances enter debit/credit card data on so-called investment pages of companies that are only present on social networks;
- if you want to check the veracity of the information presented on the Internet, look for the official contact details of the entity on whose behalf the offer is made and call yourself to inform yourself.
- be cautious about investment offers that have returns that are too good to be true! Grammatical discrepancies and/or misspellings in job postings indicate that they are fake.
